With your help, we contacted general election candidates across the country asking them to pledge their support to strengthen the ban on hunting with dogs. Hundreds of candidates have responded in favour of strengthening the law.

You can use the table below to see how candidates in your area responded to our survey of their views during the election campaign. Use the search box to enter the name of your local constituency or the name of the candidate you wish to view.

When considering candidates’ views, you may also wish to take into account what their party manifestos say about hunting and animal welfare. More information about party manifestos can be found here.

Where no response has been recorded, this does not necessarily mean that a candidate is not in favour of strengthening the hunting ban. Candidates may have also responded directly to supporters by email without completing the election survey.
