Finance & Legacy Manager

£45,000 per annum 

35 hours per week  

Permanent role 

Hybrid working, primarily home-based with occasional requirement to attend our Godalming office or travel for events 

As our Finance & Legacy Manager, you'll play a fundamental role in overseeing the accurate and timely recording and reporting of accounting information and managing the charity’s legacies. 

You will use your expertise to assist the Finance Director with budget planning, Management Accounts and reporting; thereby helping to maintain a secure and viable financial environment in support of achieving the charity’s charitable objectives into the future. 

What You'll Do:  

  • Oversee the charity’s transactions processing. 
  • Assist in preparing the monthly Management Accounts. 
  • Assist with budgets and long-term financial planning.  
  • Support the year-end financial audit.  
  • Provide reporting & financial analysis.  
  • Manage all legacy administration.  
  • Liaise with executors, solicitors and other stakeholders.  

  

Who You Are:  

  • A finance and/or legacy experienced professional with full or part accountancy qualification and relevant working experience. 
  • Strong financial management skills, including experience with management accounts, budgeting, and financial analysis.  
  • A proficient analyst with a knack for interpreting financial data and identifying trends.    
  • An effective communicator to foster understanding and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
