Lake District announces 'trail' hunting licences suspension

The LDNP follows Forestry England, the National Trust and United Utilities in suspending trail hunting after leaked webinars from the Hunting Office described ‘trail’ hunting as a smokescreen.

The League is urging other landowners such as the Ministry of Defence, the Duchy of Cornwall, the Church of England, Crown Estates and Natural Resources Wales to follow suit, and is calling on all landowners that license trail hunting to make these bans permanent.
